Fline is a key partner in the “Catch Your Breath” campaign initiated by Vinum et Spiritus—the Belgian federation for the wine and spirits sector—in collaboration with the Emilie Leus Fund. This summer, the operation achieved outstanding results: the fully branded FlineBooth enabled more than 88,500 alcohol tests across nine major Belgian festivals, including Extrema Outdoor, Rock Werchter, Tomorrowland, and Pukkelpop. This large-scale rollout confirmed the effectiveness of our solution in encouraging responsible behavior at scale.
The message was clear: to offer festivalgoers a positive, non-judgmental invitation to check their alcohol level for free—not only at the end of the evening, but throughout the event. The results highlighted the relevance of the tool, revealing that 47% of participants were above the legal driving limit and that 31% believed they were below the limit when they were in fact over it—demonstrating the difficulty of self-assessment and the importance of an objective measurement tool.
Beyond festivals, the collaboration expanded further: Vinum et Spiritus customized a FlineBox in the campaign’s colors to deploy it at additional events, notably at the Spirits Europe conference in Brussels.
These data and this constructive approach not only encouraged more than 88,000 people to reflect on their consumption and adjust their return plans—with 67% of drivers stating that the test influenced their decision—but also helped fuel dialogue with public authorities, positioning the sector as an active and constructive partner in road safety.
